MOPA colour calibration kit
============================
6 LightBurn files (one per pulse width), each a power x frequency grid of small cells, cut
from gen_mega_colorgrid.py. Load + frame + burn ALL SIX on the SAME fixtured plate, same
machine origin, one after another - do not move the plate between files, the *.json legends
assume they all land in the same place.

Strip any oil/zinc/mill-scale coating off the plate yourself BEFORE burning (short pulse /
high frequency / low power / 1 pass - do not use a long-pulse anneal recipe, it blackens the
whole plate instead of just clearing the coating). A clean, bare-metal plate is what makes the
colour cells readable.

Each cell is tiny (6x6mm) on purpose - a human scale reference or ruler in the scan helps but
isn't required; the analyzer uses the plate's own edges plus the ARROW+START mark for geometry.

Once burned, scan the plate (a flatbed scanner at 600dpi gives the cleanest result; an overhead
photo works too but is less reliable) and upload it at laserview.hankelsner.tech/tools to get
back a browsable colour library: every cell's measured colour next to the exact settings that
produced it.
